Welsh Pembroke Corgi

Welsh Pembroke Corgis, I can not say enough good about this breed. I bought my first corgi 3 years ago as a puppy. They've always amused me by their looks and personality and I knew I had to have one. Potty training my corgi was the easiest thing ever...she made only one mess...EVER!!! Corgi's are lovers and would cuddle up with you whenever you give them the chance. They have a tendency to lick...its part of the breed and they do it to show their affection. I have found them to be absolutely amazing watch dogs. They also adapt very well to new environments and love to travel. They get along wonderfully with other dogs...truthfully...I think they just love everyone and everything. Corgi's seem to be super easy to train and totally want to be under your command. They are people pleasers--also excellent family dogs. The only thing I can say I don't "love" about the corgis'...they shed twice a year---spring then fall. I would recommend looking into the breed--I believe you will love them! |
