I spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect name for my new dog -- a golden retriever, yellow lab, collie mix. She is absolutely beautiful and very sweet. It had to be the right name -- and I knew I'd know it when I heard it.
I had just hung up the phone and I looked at the dog and said, "You're the best dog ever." And at that moment, I knew I had just named her "Eva." You have to know I'm from Boston, MA and so her name is pronounced Evah. (Us Bostonians don't pronounce our R's)
And so my quest is over -- I got the perfect name for my new sweet dog. She is the best Eva! : )
