I prefer names that aren't so much common human names as they are rarely used names, like those of historical or mythical figures. I also like names derived from objects and adjectives; anything out of the norm is good. But I don't really like the 'tough' names like Crusher, Bones, Killer, etc. They look tough enough without gruesome names; use some irony and name them Daisy or Colonel Sweeto or something. :)
