Pembroke Welsh Corgi

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is one of the best dogs a person can own. They are loyal, protective, easy to train (with patience amongst the owner) and very intelligent. They are loving to their owners, and tolerant of other dogs and cats. They have such a unique personality unlike Labs, Yorkie's, Bichon's, etc. The only drawback to owning a Pembroke Welsh Corgi is that they have two coats of fur. If you are planning to adopt a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, weekly vacuuming of your house will become part of your lifestyle. But the shedding is a very small price to pay. Corgi's are very intelligent, although it is a desirable trait it can be a negative trait as well! When training a corgi you have to be persistent. A Corgi never falls for the same trick twice!
