Labs because I owned one for 14 yrs growing up and I adored her. And they are notoriously wonderful with kids and everything, great family dogs. Bassets because my neighbor owns 2 boys and I LOVE those dogs SO MUCH, they are so loving and spoiled and snuggly but still just a lil bit of fun, not too overactive or anything, but so balanced, and just so ADORABLE! LOL
