A rescued Chesapeake Bay Retriever. We drove 26 out of 30 hours to get to him before he went for the "big sleep".
Coffee is all that kept us going, besides the thought of that little brown pup.
Coffee didn't quite fit..not quite masculine enough. Given his color and his story and of course, the breed...we came up with "Java" at some point, when we were lost and delirious somewhere in Chicago lol.
