Jack

Jack is a 1 year old, male, chocolate labrador and we live in Kissimmee, Florida. He has been in training since the day we got him, learning all the basic commands such as sit, shake, down, rollover and come.
As Jack got older, about 6 months old, I attempted to teach him how to get the keys on command; after 5 minutes he could bring me my keys when I asked and has done so since. This opened my eyes to how smart Jack is and inspired me to teach him as much as I could and as much as he is willing to learn.
I have continued to teach him new tricks and he now knows how to get the keys when I ask for them, he gets me a water bottle from the refrigerator, get me a tissue when I say “Achoo” and his latest trick is getting me a bag of chips from the cupboard when asked. These tricks are a glimpse of his intelligence, but Jack has so much more to offer. He has completed beginner and intermediate agility courses and is currently attending advanced agility, and service dog off leash training.
Jack does get a lot of play time too, running free around our property exploring every little thing that takes residence on our 4 acres of land, however, going in the lake fishing with my dad might be his favorite. He has no fear and is curious about everything he sees. He has become a member of our family and we have enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to the future.
