Scottish Terriers are small enough to cuddle on the couch, large enough not to lose in the dark and the best exercise companion in the world. They are obedient and loyal. Once you have made a mark in their heart they are yours forever. Watch out for the squirrels, they love to try to climb a tree to fetch them for you. They are short yet fast.

My scotty is well behaved and can walk around town unleashed and follow commands. Proven therapy dog for the nursing home, quick to train. He learned a new trick in under 10 minutes! He could easily be a guide dog. He loves all people and other animals. They can be territorial if not socialized so I share him with many size beings as possible.
