Deisel

I gave my Pit Bull Catahoula Leopard mix his name because he's very stocky and muscular! I thought of a Semi, but he's also very energetic so I thought about what makes them go. The name 'Gas' sounds kind of insulting though (unless you have a really old Beagle who resembles a smelly sausage on four legs like my Buster boy).
It took him a long while to get used to his name because we didn't get him as a pup. He came into the Shelter I work at after belonging to a drug dealer who went to court and was forced to surrender him, and with his dark brindle coat, light blue eyes, and loving demeanor I fell in love instantly. Plus, he had that pit bull smile. :}
Another sad part was that the old owner never gave out his name. He was always "the dog", "it", or something resembling explicit wording. Even before the surrendering was final, I had been calling him Deisel.
He loves it!
