Cocker Spaniels are friendly, great company, good guard dogs, top show dogs and also great hunting/game dogs. They love to sniff around alot and they need lots of exercise everyday the same as any other dog.

They are known for a great scene of smell, In airports cocker spaniels along with other spaniel breeds are trained to be sniffer dogs to sniff out drugs in suitcases. In cancer labs, Cocker Spaniels are trained to sniff out cancerous cells in the samples shown to them.

They are known for their long ears and hairy legs. They have cute puppy dog faces and love to play with their owner. They are very smart dogs and are always their for you if you need a shoulder to cry on. Once you let them know that you the owner is the boss they can be the best thing that ever happened to you and they can change your life. :):)
