Beagle Name Ideas: Snicker

We have a Beagle. His name is Snicker and he's five years old.

We have had him since he was a puppy. We named him Snicker because he has the coloring that reminds us of the ingredients (the inside) of the Snickers candy bar. After a while we started calling him Snicker Doodle (after the cookie) in addition to Snicker. Now, a lot of times, we just call him 'doodle'. So, in our house the words 'beagle' and 'doodle' are synonymous. People outside our family look at us strange when we say we have a 'doodle' for a pet. Then, after we explain the logic, they are, like, "yeah, that makes sense now."

We plan to get another Beagle soon. Snicker needs a pal. The other two older dogs we had have passed away. We love ours to death. They are great dogs. Stubborn, but great.
