Baer The True Yellow Labrador

Baer At Age Three

Over the last 30 years we have had over 20 dogs. All of our dogs have had great temperaments and were loyal and friendly. Baer our Yellow Labrador has exceeded them all. He is the most loving and intelligent dog we have every had. Baer knows a lot of commands and people are surprised about the the things he can do and how obedient he is. Everyone who spends time with Baer falls in love with him, even my sister who doesn't like dogs. She has talked about him to her friends and co-workers. They are shocked to hear her go on and on about Baer. They all know she doesn't like dogs. Baer was able to open her heart and make her a "Baer Lover".

Recently my husband took Baer to work. They were having Santa in the store. So many of the children asked to have Baer in their picture. He got lots of petting and belly rubs as well as treats.

Baer learns new things very quickly. We give him a treat that comes in a cup. I have taught him to return the empty cup to either my husband or I after only two requests.

I have taught him to go downstairs and get my husband when I am not feeling good and need a little help. It didn't take long to teach him to do that. He also knows when I am not feeling well. He will lay next to me and every so often pops his head up and nudges me to see if things are okay. I know he realizes I am not well by his change in behavior.

I don't want to keep going on and own. I thank God for giving me such a wonderful, loyal and friendly companion.
