Hi. I have a 5 year old pitbull that I got from my brother when the dog was 1 years old. My brother didn't socialize him (or do anything with him as a pup...why I got him :-)
Yours get along with your Pom. How did you get yours to accept a little dog? Mine HATES little dogs. Do you have any dog aggression problems outside of your family? For instance, can you allow yours to run free at a dog park or beach? Or do you have to keep them on a leash like I do? Please share any tips and advise you may have regarding yours if they are not dog aggressive.
My pit loves to play with other dogs, but if the other dog shows any aggression, dominance or fear, he attacks it. If the owners of the other dog don't have it on a leash and runs up to us too quickly, he attacks it. If the other dog(s) are playful, friendly and calm, he will be too. But, unfortunately I can't take him anywhere any more because too often the off leash dogs are very mis-behaved and make him angry.
Thanks, Amanda
My page is titled Doberman and Pitbull so you can find me. I have a picture of my Dobie leaping over my pitbull.

I recently rescused a pit bull young adult male.He is very smart and likes to cuddle. Our old dog rocky(mastiff-boxer)was not a cuddler. We had him for 12 years.I too was fearful of all the hype.but am glad I rescued this beauty.
